How to Fish Game Wiki does not ask you to create an account. Our hosting provider may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, time and security signals to deliver and protect the site. If you email us, we receive the address, message and any information you choose to include.
Local achievement progress
The achievement tracker saves completed achievement IDs in your browser’s local storage under htf-achievements-v1. This data is not sent to our server and is not linked to your Steam account. Clearing site storage removes it.
Analytics choices
Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Allow analytics.” It may collect page views, device/browser information, approximate location and interaction events. We enable IP anonymization where supported. If you choose “Essential only,” the analytics script is not loaded. You can reopen “Privacy choices” in the footer and change your selection by clearing this site’s stored consent choice.
Videos and external links
YouTube players use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain and are created only after you press play. YouTube may then receive technical request data and apply its own policies. Links to Steam, YouTube, Discord and other sites leave this site; their privacy practices apply there.
Advertising
This site may use Google AdSense in the future. If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure and limit ads, subject to applicable consent choices. Personalized advertising will not be enabled where consent or law does not allow it. Any active advertising controls and disclosures will be kept on this page.
Hosting and security
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes network and security data to provide content delivery, abuse prevention and availability. We retain email only as long as needed to respond, handle a correction or meet legal obligations.
