Find the documented island, rod and bait pairings, then keep a private browser checklist for Collector and drip cleanup.
Match the lure tier to the island: Free Lure or Hot Dog at the Lighthouse, Free or Beginner Lure in the Forest, Standard Lure in the Desert, Professional Lure at the Rocks and Scientific Lure at the Volcano. Bosses use separate bait. Drip variants do not have a documented special lure—use the Tab encyclopedia to see what is missing, then hunt the matching creature on its normal island.
If the lure is correct but nothing bites after you buy the Island 2 rod, use the fish-not-biting guide: hold left click while the hook is in the water before diagnosing bait or co-op state.
Showing all 44 entries.
Island 1 and Island 2 mix Free Lure, Hot Dog and Beginner Lure. From Island 3 onward, regular catches use one main tier per island: Standard, Professional, then Scientific. Keep boss bait separate from this ladder.
| Island | Regular lure |
|---|---|
| 1 · Lighthouse | Free Lure or Hot Dog |
| 2 · Forest | Free Lure, Beginner Lure or Hot Dog |
| 3 · Desert | Standard Lure |
| 4 · Rocks | Professional Lure |
| 5 · Volcano | Scientific Lure |
Collector asks you to find and kill every creature. Fishipedia asks you to find and kill every drip creature. Drips are visually distinct rare variants; current guide evidence says they use the ordinary creature route rather than a separate lure.
Current third-party tables disagree on a handful of additional names and bait pairings. This tracker therefore contains 44 cross-referenced entries, not a claim that 44 is the final Fishipedia total. If a name appears in your current in-game encyclopedia but not here, follow the game’s list and report the missing row so it can be reconciled against another source.
This page stores checklist choices only in this browser. The “Drip found” control is bookkeeping: mark it only when the in-game encyclopedia shows a drip slot and records the kill. The table does not invent spawn rates, guaranteed farms or boss-specific drip eligibility.
